Payment through e-billing channel did not go through, and Nedbank is not giving my money back!

On the 27th Of September, I paid a traffic fine via your E-billing services. Reference number typed in, fine with amount came up, I paid it, R800 was taken off my account. I purchased a new vehicle, and because of this fine, I couldn't register the vehicle.

On the 2nd Of October, they tried to register and licence my new vehicle, this fine still showed as unpaid on the City of Cape Town's side. Please bear in mind that there was also now a warrant of arrest on my name due to this unpaid fine (which I paid via your e-billing channel). I then went back to the City of Cape Town, to find out what's going on. They never received the payment from Nedbank, and find showed as unpaid

On the 16th of October I went to your Brackenfell Branch to get clarity on what's going on, and where my money is. The lady did investigate, and said it was still lying in the Nedbank Suspense account, and never went out to the City of Cape Town, it was actually surpose to reverse into my account immediately. She phoned the call centre, and this was confirmed by them as well. And various other calls to your call centre confirmed the same

A Call was then logged, to reverse this money back into my account, so I can just go to the court and pay the fine myself . In the meantime, I was running out of time with the licencing of my vehicle, as the temp licence was also expiring. So went to the court, and made the payment myself on the 18th of October, as I've had no joy from any of your employees at Nedbank as to where my money was.

It's been up and down ever since to try and get my money back, I've spoken to teamleaders and a few other people. So now I am being told (after I've been told by three difference Nedbank employees that the money is in Nedbank's Suspense account), that the payment went through to City of Cape Town?? Which is impossible, as I went in myself to make the payment on the 18th of October. So how does a payment surposedly go through if that fine is not even showing as outstanding anymore?

Please pay back my money. A R800 fine, is now a R1600 fine. Lots of petrol and time wasted trying to get my ****** money back. But no one on your side is actually trying to trace it for me. It's not my fault Nedbank lost my money, due to their e-billing system not working properly.

I await your urgent feedback. Really not impressed at all. It's a month since I paid the money through your e-billing channel

It is really sad that I had to come to Hellopeter to try and get my money back. Rediculous actually.

Wow Nedbank. You have outdone yourselves once again with customer Service. Your so called "resolution manager" is not helpful at all. The only answer I am getting is that it's being investigated (going for two weeks now????). So My money got lost on the 27th of September Then your call centre "investigated" on the 16th of October, and no joy there. Then It was given over to a resolution manager on the 26th Of October, still no joy there. So who do I speak to for someone to actually care about me as customer, and get to the bottom of the problem? It just seems as if no one is taking responsibility for this??????? I am sure this goes against all the National credit Regulators rules and regulations? It's rediculous!
