Payment for ITC

I have been receiving numerous calls from the ITC department of this company.I have paid them according to the arrangements.And also I didn't know that I must pay them after resigning.They told me that they didn't receive the payment which I did pay on the 31 January 2020.And now they want to charge me the penalty.How will I pay the penalty and the remaining balance because I told them that I am not working.
