Paying someone else s policy

Am not happy with nedbank insurance received an email saying my policy has lapsed.I called in to find out how because I missed only one premium the rest I ve been paying at Pep stores .When I called they told me the easy pay Reference they gave me belongs to someone meaning I ve been paying for someone.I received the reference from them it's written on the letter they emailed me .They said they ll get back to till today no answer I can't pay for June and July because the reference I have it's wrong. I have to call them use my airtime to find out how far they are
