Paying for someone else's mistake

My credit card expired in February 2025. I did not receive any notification to inform me that my card expires, nor did I receive any notification that my card is at the branch for collection. Only when I tried to use my card at a shop, the cashier informed me that the card had expired. On my visit to the bank, I was notified that because the card was destroyed because I did not collect it. I had to phone and request a new card to be issued. I did that and then my account was debited with R160. Cost for issuing a new card. If the bank did their work and contact me, I would have collected the card. I feel it is not my mistake it is the employees of the bank that did not do their work, there for I would like Nedbank to return my R160, as soon as possible.
