Paying for a Benefit I Can’t Use – Disappointed with Nedbank Insurance
I’m extremely disappointed with the service I’ve received from Nedbank Insurance.
My vehicle recently suffered a mechanical breakdown and is now undrivable. I called Nedbank Insurance to explain the situation and inform them that the car is booked into a workshop for inspection and repairs. Since I pay for the courtesy car benefit as part of my policy, I naturally requested a courtesy car while my vehicle is being worked on.
To my shock, I was told that the courtesy car benefit does not apply for mechanical repairs. This makes absolutely no sense. Why am I paying for a benefit that becomes useless when I actually need it most? A breakdown is exactly when a customer needs a courtesy vehicle the most.
This feels like a complete failure to honour the policy benefits that I’ve been paying for. I expect better transparency and fairness from an institution like Nedbank.
Sort this out!
