PAYING BUT ACCOUNT BALANCE NOT GOING DOWN

Nedbank and their day light *******, so I'm paying off a debt with them and I've paid R8000 to date yet the debt is not going down. This morning I spoke to their consultant Fiona who advised me I'm just wasting my money even making these payments cause I'm never going to finish paying this account. Nedbank please explain why are you robbing us, I was told by Fiona I'm paying to keep my account at Nedbank so it's not handed over. WOW so I'm giving Nedbank money for nothing hey.
