Pathetic Bank specialising in unauthorised debits!!

This bank must be thee worst bank to correspond with.

I had a credit card for some time with Nedbank and decided it was time to also open up a check account with Nedbank which I pay R180 per month for.

I was retrenched from my previous employer Feb 2016 last year and recently started working in a new company Jan.

I opted on being loyal and staying with the bank, got an advance from current employer so I can perform my duties as I work in a sales industry, before the month even ends R3100 is taken from my account.

Before I even get the chance to even make any sort of communication to notify that I’m now working money is taken.

I found out this week that my account was taken to the legal department and the funds won’t be refunded.

Where was the communication before hand to state my account is being handed over?

Where was the communication from the legal department to state they have my account?

Nedbank has the same number on the system and email address but failed to call /sms/ or even email to state my account is being handed over.

Last I woke with someone which was last year sometime I clearly stated I was retrenched and I was unemployed.

Logically speaking I would have not requested payment to be made with the money I needed to perform my duties on the same account I knew was waiting to perform unauthorised debits.

My mistake. Moving forward I will share my story to everyone I know so they can think twice before opening or keeping an account with Nedbank.

I will also be closing this current account as soon as possible.

Yvonne Dlamini , please find out on resolution time before giving wrong time scale.

Karen Venter, unhelpful and a waste of time calling you.

Ngobese, C. (Celimpilo) ,a real pain trying to communicate with and im sure my account was not correctly noted with what I was actually trying to tell you!

No point is speaking more about customer service as this is only a reflecting on the company’s rules and regulations.

In time when the time is right and when I recover from this set back which would be next month, legal advice will be will be processed on my side as well.

Thanks for nothing Nedbank!
