Paid Up Letter Still not provided

I went on maternity leave and was on UIF. My finances took a bit of a knock and my accounts fell behind on payments including my Nedbank credit card. Last month Nov 2024 I settled the credit card. It was handed over to attorneys but I made the effort to settle. I was told that I would get the paid up letter within 14 days which I did not receive. I called Nedbank today to request for the letter and I was told I have to wait for up to 7 days but if Im lucky I will get it by Saturday, mind you, today is Tuesday. I need this urgently as my life is now at a stand still with everything hanging in the balance of Nedbank issuing my paid up letter. Waiting another 4 days after waiting for over a month already, is too long unnecessary and unfair. Trying to apply for vehicle finance (including with MFC a division of Nedbank) and being declined for accounts that have been settled is quite unfair. Please appreciate that I am being responsible by settling old debt (paperwork can be provided if needed) before taking on a new financial commitment.
