Paid up Credit card

I paid R6200 on the 25 June 2015 then I was told there are still an amount of R723 outstanding which I paid on the 1st July 2015.To date Im still waiting for my paid up letter and my credit profile has not been updated.Why is this taking so long to happen?Im also waiting for my Personal loan account to be cleared and paid up letter as this was also paid up.Why pay and then wait.This are very poor service.
