Overdraft request runaround

I went to Nedbank at Kenilworth Centre and while only wanting a 3 month bank statement in order to secure a loan from another service provider in order to effect repairs to my aging car, I was convinced by a staff member to give Nedbank a chance to assist me. Big mistake, but then again I was hopeful having been a Nedbank account holder for + - 15 years. I had the application for an increase in my overdraft processed and with a subsequent payback option activated I was assured that I would receive an answer within 3-5 days. That was 3 and a half weeks ago. Overdraft was rejected as I was not permanently employed
