Opting me in to **** without my consent

Called Nedbank on the 14th April 2021 to CANCEL/CLOSE my Nedbank Cheque account.

today i get an email stating," WELCOME TO STRUCTURED SAVE. Congratulations, you've successfully Opted in to the greenbacks Structured Save package"

I OPTED IN FOR NOTHING!!! WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU IDIOTS DOING ON YOUR SIDE WITHOUT MY CONSENT?
