“OH, NEDBANK !”

Is NEDBANK in trouble …. or just plagued by *********** and arrogant, unhelpful staff ?! They had a slogan “Do you want a bank that takes your money …. or a bank that takes your money SERIOUSLY?!” That’s been changed when enough Nedbank clients suffering now monstrous fees realised the bank was SERIOUSLY taking their money! (eg: a fee of R82.30 to bank a R100 note?! Another fee of R82.30 to withdraw it?! Plus many more equally absurd!). Nedbank has another slogan “See Money Differently!”…. and they DO indeed! For example …. as an elderly Nedbank client living on interest the bank offered me a rate of 6% in a product called “Just Invest “. I accepted it …. but receive far less! Every penny counts so I challenge the blunder with endless fruitless emails and phone calls receiving only promises to call me back - which never happens. There’s an almost hostile reaction to requests for help from Nedbank featuring an arrogant “take it or leave it!” attitude.
