Not "Making Things Happen

For about 25 years i have been a client of nedbank.I have a personal loan with Nedbank. The recent challenge of the Corona Virus has affected us all and at the onset of the Covid lockdown my salary dropped by 40%. I called in to make a Payment arrangement and was told i could apply for a paymet holiday. I did and was told it was 3 months after which normal payments will resume. After the 2nd month they started deducting the debit order again. I called in again and they said all payment holiday arrangements had been cancelled. I said i did not receive any notification of this. I was told to make arrangement to settle the arrears. I said if i could afford it i wouldnt have needed the payment holiday. I agreed to pay an extra R500 on my debit order until the arrears were settled.Every month since then I have been harrassed with calls about the arrears. I have requested copies of the calls where the payment holiday was app**** for. I have requested copies of the correspondence where i was notified that the payment holiday was cancelled. I have requested copies of the payment arrangement. None of these have been provided.Again his month they double debited without authority or advising me of it. This resulted in significant inconvenience when i wanted to pay for groceries. I appreciate that there are those who have a power trip when it comes to assiting during these challenging times. I did not expect Nedban to be one of them
