Not even in 4 weeks time Nedbank's home loan department can assess our application.

We app**** for a home loan for an apartment we would like to purchase as an investment. Our personal banker, as it is called, at the local branch office has assured us that it wouldn't be a problem to purchase what we had in mind. After 2 weeks the deadline of obtaining a loan was reached. The real estate agent managed to get an extension from the seller for another 2 weeks. Now 4 weeks later NOTHING definite yet. 1 small question here and there has been posed to our "personal" banker by the home loan department which she could easily answer. They have been in possession of all the necessary documents from day 1!

Where do you go from here? Who do you phone!?! Certainly the call centre won't be able to help a person.
