Not able to withdraw my own damn money
About 1 - 2 years ago I made a request to withdraw over R5000 from my investment account. The consultant advised that I need R500 in the account to keep it active and I obliged.

Today I am told that I need R5000 in the account to keep it active. To top it off the team leader is requesting for a date, month, reference number of an interaction that took place 1 - 2 years ago in order to 'investigate'. I don't even remember what I had for lunch last week this time...

The money that I needed to withdraw today was to pay for my wedding venue, if I do not pay, I will incur penalties. Will Nedbank be liable for those penalties or will I because they can't keep their stories straight?

I am absolutely NOT impressed!

What the fudge do you need R5000 for to keep an account active???

This is complete and utter ********, as far I am concerned I want those funds available in my cheque account no later than tomorrow, the 29th January 2016. You should have record of my interaction today and also that interaction of 1 - 2 years ago...

The team leader suggests I go to a branch (-_-)... I work!!! By the time I get home the banks are closed!!! What's the use of having a 24HR notice account?
