No Work - Sorry for You - No Bank Account
From November 2014 to April 2015 I was unemployed (retrenched). My Nedbank account fell into arrears unfortunately in the amount of +_R800. I told Nedbank repeatedly that I was looking for work and that I would be using the account as soon as I could find work again. I was really battling and very stressed. As soon as I found work I informed Nedbank who said so sorry my account had been handed over to some collecting agency and that I would not be able to use the account at all. This posed a huge issue as I had to deposit my first month's salary into my bank account (which effectively I did not have anymore and could not use) - my card was also cancelled. Thanks Nedbank - I will never use any of your facilities again - EVER! I have taken my paltry salary (which isnt so paltry compared to what most people earn in SA) to your competitor bank - thanks for nothing after 7 years of banking with you! I had to withdraw my salary in cash after numerous visits and calls to the branch and the call centre as no-one knew what the actual situation was. Very, very disappointed in your lack of caring for your \loyal"clients. I was treated very badly and will never return."""
