NO PURPOSE, NO VISION, NO VALUES!!!

I have just been reminded why I left Nedbank all those years ago, the service is atrocious to say the very least. I am trying to pay off a credit card that I took out and haven't used for over 10 years (Shouldn't this debt be prescribed?). I recently tried to apply for a bond and was told that I have this credit card outstanding. In principle I think that all debts should be paid so I made arrangements to pay this. I paid them on the 22nd of October 2024 and sent the settlement letter along with the proof of payment, I still have not received the paid-up letter. I have spoken to their call center agents who sounded lethargic and transferred me 3 times. The last lady (Cindy) confirmed that they have all documents, but they still cannot send me the letter until next week Tuesday (Mind you, the settlement letter expires in 7 days). How do people NOT want to be paid? I will NEVER go back to Nedbank.
