I would like to ask Nedbank how long it takes to transfer funds from a deceased estate. My father passed away at the end of December last year. My brother submitted the required legal documents in January for investment funds to be transferred into an estate account opened with the same Nedbank. The amounts involved are less than R50000 but all I have heard are excuses about how the Nedbank consultant is unable to locate the people who are supposed to do that. If this is the kind of service within Nedbank units themselves where does that leave me? Right now I'm ill with all the stress of carrying a huge unemployed household with debts to pay and threats of legal action when there is my late father's investments that could be used to mitigate some of this. My brother keeps telling me stories about how it took our neighbours over a year to receive their late mother's pension payout from the same Nedbank. I keep screaming at him that this is condoning poor service while I am taking strain and he must act. This month I had debit orders going unpaid while our money is sitting with the bank with no sign of resolution. Please contact me with a response to expedite this matter. Thanks
Best regards,
