NO NOTIFICATION OF EARLY DEBIT ORDER FOR DECEMBER 2016 FROM NEDBANK

Hi,

I'm a very disappointed Nedbank customer who has been debited without any prior notification from the bank for a personal loan I recently took out from Nedbank. When I called the bank to ask as to why I was debited without any notification I was told that an SMS was sent to me. I, however, did not receive such an SMS from the bank and the call center agent was however adamant that I had received it and even went on to imply that I had "deleted" it.
I then requested to be called for matters such as early debit orders to which the call center agent then said "you will also say we did not call you". This comment implying that I am a **** who angrily called just for the pure sake of starting an argument.

I would not waste my time, money and effort to dispute something that is untrue just for the fun of it. It is frustrating that I had funds, that I was saving for other matters, debited without my prior knowledge.
I found this to be very upsetting as Nedbank is willingly able to call me every other week for "Promotions" but, I cannot be called for important matters such as being debited early.

It makes no sense to me that Nedbank takes pride in calling me every other week for irrelevant matters but will refuse to call me for something that involves an invasion of funds meant for other use from my account.

I'm writing this review as this is not the first time Nedbank has made a "*****-up"/"show-off" in terms of my payment of the personal loan. There is an attitude from the call center agents that since I "borrowed" money from the bank that they can treat me however they please and invade my account because I owe them. I should be properly notified of something like this and not be told than an SMS was sent when infact I did not recieve it.

Furthermore, the call center agent was using the fact that the call was being recorded to somehow "sway" me from keeping my temper down but I will not be threatened to keep my opinion to myself. This is my money that I work very hard for, and even if I do owe the bank I need to be notified as they have no idea what then money was being kept for.

I need proper notification of early debit orders, and not just an sms that is unreliable as proved, which I did not recieve.

Thanks.
