No card yet already racking up fees

I opened a Nedbank Amex account early in July. It was approved and yet after a few days I'd still heard nothing from the delivery company. I chose face to face delivery although you pay extra for it.

It's now been 4 weeks and they can't deliver the card nor deliver at the branch. I have already received a statement and credit insurance policy but they can't give me their card because Nedbank doesn't use the legitimate FICA documentation requirements as required by law. They use their own 'FICA', meaning you can only prove your residential address with a TV license, utility bill or car registration (don't have a tv license and other accounts in my husband's name). They don't accept SARS documentation, retail or banking accounts, payslips, Nedbank documentation or husband's utility bills with a marital certificate. Plus their customer care consultant is being on purpose because I complain. She keeps re-requesting a face to face delivery knowing full well that my proof of address doesn't qualify and she doesn't actually answer any of my questions about FICA or my fees which have now been running up for the past month.

So I am left cardless although paying card accounts and no one willing to assist me as the consultant just keeps repeating the process of delivery and delivery failure without just expediting my card delivery to the branch.

I don't even have access to the account.

I have now be informed that the card can be delivered to me as they will make an exception about the POA, but I've yet to hear from the delivery company.

Hi

The resolution manager has been in contact with me on several occasions. I simply want my card now, else I may as well cancel the account as I'm just paying fees for something I can't use.

I have given Nedbank 24 hours to ensure I receive my card.

Standing here at Tygervalley Nedbank in disbelief. Though I was phoned this morning and told I could collect my card at the branch, I am now told my card isnt here. Then I am told my card is here but must be destroyed. I am absolutely furious with this horrible service.
