New Nedbank APP a few steps back!

Nedbank is "upgrading" its online banking, BUT does not work in Chrome, but rather on OLD platform Internet Explorer (with its lower security and higher risk vs Chrome/Edge etc)! Did not expect this from one of the top 5 banks in SA! Online banking worked on Chrome for some time, but a few weeks ago I received a message "We're busy with maintenance: Our online banking site is currently down for maintenance. We will be back online as soon as possible. Please try again later." Just to find out from my banking representative that the issue is rather IT DOES NOT WORK ON CHROME!!?? Nedbank you have to keep up with the times and benchmarks to be one of the top bank.
