NEW BANK ACCOUNT DETAILS COMPROMISED & SHARED WITH A 3RD PARTY

I opened a new bank account with Nedbank on the 05 August 2017, because my old account with Nedbank was closed. I have been a client for a very long time so I did not want to switch to another bank. When I was asked about debit order switch, I only authorized that they can assist with the debit order switch for my life insurance and said I will change the details for my vehicle insurance myself. I did not provide them with any other details for debit order switches, but to my surprise I received a SMS last week Friday, notifying me that a debit order went through and this was from a 3rd party that was not authorized to debit my account. I went into the branch to reverse the debit and to stop the debit and I asked how is it possible that I only have this account for a few weeks and 3rd parties got hold of my new bank account. No one know. So the lady that assisted me called me the Saturday to inform me that they ( at the bank) were not able to reverse the debit order and contacted the Nedbank call center and a consultant from the call center said he will call me to verify this and will reverse it. PLEASE NOTE: BY MY INFORMATION BEING SHARED WITH 3RD PARTIES, WITHOUT MY CONSENT IS GOING AGAINST THE POPI ACT. BY NOT CONTACTING ME AS ADVISED AND NOT RESOLVING THIS MATTER, IS GOING AGAINST TCF (Treating The Client Fairly). This also leaves a client like myself not trusting the bank and this is not the first time that ******** and ********** activities was done on my account and my details and I still have proof and have saved it on a disc, yet I stayed with Nedbank. I will appreciate if this matter can be resolved, because I will take this further with the FSB and Ombudsman and will provide them with all my proof I have. PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT MY COMPLAINT IS NOT AGAINST THE CONSULTANT THAT ASSIST ME WITH OPENING THE ACCOUNT, BUT THE PERSONS WHO SHARED MY INFORMATION WITH 3RD PARTIES.
