Never closed my account

I closed my account on the 8th of February, now they are threatening me with letters of demand cosmy account is overdrawn. When I called they say they only closed my profile and the account is still open. No answer from the Bedford branch and the complaints says someone will contact me but there is no word on if they still expect me to pay that money even if I asked. Will see how this goes and if no satisfactory results I will take it to the ombud
