Need to settle n get out of debt

On the 15 April 2019 I phoned Nedbank to ask for a settlement amount on my Nedbank credit card and spoken to a consultant by the name Mpumelelo and he gave me a settlement amount so I transfer the funds into the account. He said as soon as it reflects on his side he will call me. The next day he called me n verified me asking reason for closure so I gave him my reason. Call gets disconnected and he doesn't call back. I called the call centre again and a person by the name Khulekani tells me at 1st that he doesn't known that person and I gave him a reference number and Says it don't exist but tells me that the figure was right but now all of a sudden there's other amount pending. So I asked him how did I get the amount maybe sucked it from my finger. Now I'm really upset cos I must pay more just to settle my account and get out of debt. Really disgusted with Nedbank which I never once missed a payment. Can anyone help me?
