Nedgroup trust - most useless service provider
Nedgroup trust has to be one of the most useless services offered by Nedbank. They sell you a fallacy that all will be taken care of when one passes away. The Will is drawn up and the client is charged a monthly storage fee. But when the client passes away: - they don't respond to emails - when they do, they shift all admin to the family members - the advise that they don't have access to all financial information of clients so the family is expected to run around to the different financial institutions to get the information, even though they have no authority over the accounts - after being nominated as executors in the Will, they provide the family with forms to take this task over
I don't understand the purpose of using them, the family may as well drafted the Will and stored it if all duties were to be performed by them anyways. Absolute waste of money. Sadly one only finds this out after the passing of a loved one.
