Nedgroup non-disclosure and lack of communication

I received a call this morning from ITC advising me that I have been handed over to them by Nedgroup medical aid, I was in shock hearing this because I was never informed via all forms of communication that I had any outstanding amounts with Nedgroup. I had resigned from Nedbank at the end of May 2016 and was no longer a member of their medical aid scheme. In the past 6 months I was not contacted by Nedgroup medical aid or Nedbank regarding any balance outstanding. When contacting their call centre it was not easy to get through to an operator but when I did I was told that they had sent 2 sms's to the incorrect number which I have not been using for the past 4 years. . I am extremely upset by the way in which this has been handled and when I spoke to the call centre agent it came across that this is my fault that I was not contacted via email, post and a courtesy call. Nedgroup is owned by Nedbank and I can’t believe that they could not get the latest information from Nedbank who has all my information as I was an employee and is still a client. I feel this level of service and just plain non-disclosure and clear lack of communication from Nedgroup is unacceptable. This is now affecting my credit scoring and will have a bad record on my name; this can have a drastic effect on my life when I want to purchase my first home. I am extremely upset by the way in which this has been handled, I am still waiting for a call from the manager or team leader of this department.
