Nedbanks *********** Staff
I am very frustrated and disappointed with Nedbank as on the 27/01/2021 I received no funds alert. When I looked I saw that Miway insurance had deducted an amount of R594 for pro rata insurance for a vehicle I had bought this week.
I then transferred R600 from my other bank to my Nedbank cheque account and it vappeared immediately.I then called Nedbank Lifestyle and spoke to a consultant called Nabila who assured me that the debit order will not be rejected as it had cleared from their side and that I had done well to transfer the money asap. This morning the 29/01/2021 I wake up to a rejected debit and when I call nedbank lifestyle to find out about this a consultant named Anysha tries to shift the blame on me and does not want to putbme through to their Complaints division.
My issue here is that nedbank seems to be running a **** of making money from their clients. Why am I paying for a no funds alert if that alert will be late in notifying me?I called on the 27/01/2021 specifically to ensure that the debit order would get money and I was therefore **** to by the consultant or the consultant was either very ***********.She however reassured me that it would go through as it had cleared on their side as the bank.Had she been straight with me I would have made other means to cover my insurance. Now Im sitting with rejected debit orders fees and my new vehicle is not covered. This bank is running a **** and have had enough of their incompetence.
