Nedbank's audacity

I opened an account for saving some funds on the side. Little did I know about all the changes for this savings account. I decided to just leave the account and look for something elsewhere. Today on 28/09/2019 I went there to close the account and they had the audacity to tell me "they can't close my account, because it's month end, and they load bank charges on month end." I'm closing the account because of the charges.
