Nedbank Zevenwaght Mall Loan repayment issue
Could someone please help me with a basic request of changing my debit order on my personal loan to manual payment? There was a mix-up with the date on my first installment and Nedbank was not willing to change the date even after I phoned and requested the date be changed. I was told there is nothing they can do as the system is tracking already “So just let it happen” well that’s what I did and their system did a triple debit order in January. I was also assured by the person in the loan department working from home that my debit order date has been changed to the end of the month ‘’the person made a note”, contacted the teller that gave me the loan and I was told it’s my fault that this happened, really is that how you talk to your valued clients? Nice one Nedbank keep up the good work, I guess it’s my fault that Nedbank took a triple debit order as well as held my money hostage for a few days, without returning it immediately I’m sure a bank can do an immediate payment as they are a bank. Guess it’s my fault that my credit score lost a good couple of points and I won’t get those points back after I worked hard to build up a good credit score in today’s economy. Was told to log a complaint with Nedbank’s complaint division, well didn’t even receive a ticket number or a follow-up and that was the end of January, bravo Nedbank. February they managed to get the debit order rite, March I called to confirm if the date has been changed and got to the same person working from home that told me my debit order is scheduled for 26th March I told them please move it to the end of the month and they said again there is nothing they can do I must just let it happen, so what you’re saying is that it’s ok for my debit orders to bounce and me to keep losing points on my credit score? Luckily the debit order came off 30th March and my salary was in even though it was late this month. Why did the person on the phone say 26th? I earn enough I can afford the loan. Went to Nedbank Zevenwaght Mall this morning was in line before they opened only to be told by the lady handing out numbers that there is nothing they can do to assist and I must phone their lovely (0800) loans department number to change my debit order to manual payment, well no! There is no proof that anything will be changed, I’m not wasting my time again phoning and being told everything is sorted when clearly it’s not, put me in contact with someone that is willing to help and not telling me what I want to hear and doing nothing about it. I want Nedbank to disable the debit order and I will make manual payments when my salary comes in as Nedbank does not know how debit orders work.
