NEDBANK - Zero Assistance

The President of South Africa announced that there would be a loan facility that could be made available to businesses that needed to cover their overheads for 3 months due to Covid-19 impact. I made an application with NEDBANK. they have been dragging their feet for weeks now. Their first response was that they could not see the negative impact of COVID-19 on my business - the idiots were looking at forecasts that I sent them for the NEXT 12 months as they requested. I was then told they were looking into it and it looked very positive. Today they tell me that they cannot see affordability for the loan!

Are these guys real idiots or do they just do a lot of practicing to be such good idiots? Currently there is no affordability because of the impact of COVID-19!!!!! This loan only starts to be repaid in 6 months time! And they could ask for security (according to their own communication to clients), which I have..... a R4m property on which I only owe R500****!!!

So basically, they DO NOT WANT TO ASSIST me. I have banked with them for over 20 years.

Today they helped me make a decision.....and that is to move ALL of my accounts away from them to one of their opposition banks.

NEDBANK is a deceptive and lying organisation! I will never trust what they say and neither should you.
