Nedbank Xenophobic?

My wife (Christine Muzondo) who is permanently employed in Strand was given a letter by her company to apply for an Account through Nedbank essentially because that is the same company's bank. She submitted all the required documents and was told it would take 2 weekks to a month. Surprisingly, it's been 3 months and she goes there every month to check and they have no answer for her. They claim Home Affairs are yet to approve but she has all the papers. I am left wondering whetther all this is a ploy to avoid giving accounts to foreign nationals even when they are here legally?
