Nedbank won't help resolve card *****

I noticed a large number of Netflix transactions being deducted from my credit card account that were not mine. I did not receive a single notification for any of those transactions. I immediately called Nedbank Card ***** to inform them. After waiting for someone to answer for over half an hour, I informed the consultant of what had happened and gave them the list of all the transactions that were showing on my statement. I was told that my card would be blocked and the matter attended to. Over two weeks later, I hadn't heard anything from Nedbank, so I called them to follow up. I was told that the matter was resolved and the transactions had been reversed. Looking at my statement, I could see that some (perhaps 3) transactions had indeed been reversed but that the bulk of them had not. I told the consultant this and, after some investigation, he told me that the other transactions were coming from a different card. He then went on to give me the card number. The card number that he gave me is not and has never been in my possession. There was no explanation as to where that card came from and why it was linked to my account. The only plausible source of that card was a card ordered for my wife that was not collected (Nedbank would not allow me to collect a card that I ordered and that was linked to my account because it was in my wife's name). I was then told that those transactions would be reversed and my card blocked. I was also told that there had been a large breech of customer credit card details a few months prior! How is it possible that a breach of card details could occur and the bank not inform its clients? Two days later, there were more Netflix transactions coming off my account. Around that time, I received an email saying that the matter was resolved. I rep**** to say that it absolutely had not been resolved. The next day - another automated email to say that the matter was resolved! Again, I rep****, listing all of the transactions that had still not been reversed. I am yet to receive any response or even an acknowledgement of receipt for either of those emails. Today, when checking my statement I saw that all of the other transactions that I had listed had been reversed but that there was a new transaction that just went off yesterday. I immediately tried to call again and, again, waited for someone to answer for so long that the call eventually just ended. This happened twice. Nedbank has now failed to resolve a matter that has left me feeling incredibly insecure about their ability to look after my money - a service that I pay them for. I have tried visiting a branch, I have tried emailing and I have tried phoning. The branch refused to help me and my emails and phone calls go unanswered. Money continues to be taken from my account while nobody appears to be willing or able to sort out the problem. I am now forced to get their attention here. Thank you, Nedbank. You just lost a client. I will be closing my account this week.
