Nedbank wont close my account!

So I finally decide that I have had it with the bad service I always receive from Nedbank and I go to the Carnival Mall Branch to go and close my account. After waiting for an hour before being helped even though the branch was empty, the consultant then advises that the account cannot be closed as the is movement on the account and he would close it the following day- noting that it can be done in my absence and it would be closed immediately. So today I call the call center to verify that the account has been closed only to find out that the account has not been closed and no attempt to close it has been made. And guess what, when I call the branch I get the run around with everyone from the manager to the team lead to the consultant who was assisting me not being available. Just when I though I would rid myself of Nedbank for good!!
