Nedbank wont close an account

I have tried for a few months now to cancel a Nedbank cheque account which i have never used and on which i incure bank charges monthly of R240.15 per month. Account number ***, i have contacted Nedbank to cancel through the app - cant do it, i have called to cancel it - cant do it. I have made contact with a Nedbank branch over a month ago and they cant do it. I keep getting letters to pay the R240.15. I want this cancelled. Come on surely this is easy to do Nedbank - this account was opened online in the first place. Please cancel it
