Nedbank Winner as Worst Bank in South Africa

I have had a very bad experience with Nedbank in South Africa. Their banking app is not up to the mark and the staff at their branches lack proper training. I opened a bank account with them, but since day one, I have faced numerous issues. On the other hand, FNB's Money app is far better than Nedbank's app and has been developed by experienced developers.

Their online instant payment service is not reliable, even though I am paying for it. It takes hours and sometimes even a day for the payment to reflect in the recipient's account. In contrast, FNB and ABSA's instant payment service is much faster, usually taking no more than 10 minutes.

Furthermore, when comparing the banking fees for my business account, I found that Nedbank charges a lot more compared to other banks. Their service fees are significantly higher than their competitors, making them the most expensive option in the market.
