Nedbank will not close bank account.

I have tried to close my current account for around 8 months. This is impossible if you no longer reside in South Africa.

I contacted nedbank contact centre, They contacted Nedbank Three Rivers branch manager and he pass this on to Lerato Mota to do. No response since then. I follow up continiously via email and all that happens is no response.

After months I have contacted contact centre to be told my account is now in overdraft and I must pay that before they will close the account. Of course if Nedbank staff had closed my account when requested, they would have owed me money.

Do not trust Nedbank staff to do their work that they get paid to do.
