Nedbank will give your lottery winning to the SA Gambling Board

My mom received an email saying that playing any lottery outside South Africa will result in winnings being confiscated and paid to the S A gambling board.

How do you explain this when South African betting sites have every draw for every country Eg. Uk , France , Russia etc...

Also your banking app allows the purchasing of vouchers to be used on these betting sites

South Africa will fo anything to take people's money. I have not seen this with other banks but I'm sure it's yet to come. So please explain because then you would need to shut down all South African betting sites
