Nedbank: Why Do Previously Prescribed Accounts Keep Returning to Damage My Financial Standing?

**Nedbank: Why Do Previously Prescribed Accounts Keep Returning to Damage My Financial Standing?**

My Nedbank Personal Loan and Overdraft were previously confirmed as prescribed. Yet adverse information concerning these accounts has reappeared, and my overdraft continues to be displayed adversely on my credit profile.

**Nedbank, what evidence justifies this reporting, and what information are you continuing to submit about these accounts?**

This is a recurring matter with serious consequences. These disputed accounts are raised when I seek credit, undermining my financial standing and affecting my livelihood. As a working professional and business owner, I need access to financial opportunities—not an endless battle to defend my name against accounts previously recognised as prescribed.

From my perspective, the repeated revival of adverse information feels like **tactical financial warfare**. The consumer remains financially restricted while having to challenge the same accounts again and again. I cannot establish whether this is deliberate, but Nedbank must explain whether the cause is its reporting practices, its agents or a failure to correct the information at its source.

**Prescription cannot simply be disregarded because an account remains on an institution's system.** If Nedbank contends that either account did not prescribe, it must disclose the account-specific evidence and explain its position. A payment date or assertion of court proceedings must be substantiated—not merely repeated.

I require Nedbank to investigate both accounts separately, identify the information it has supp**** to credit bureaus, explain the basis for any changed status and correct reporting that is inaccurate or unsupported.

I also require a permanent solution. Correcting an entry only for it to return through another submission leaves the consumer bearing the same harm.

**Nedbank, stop leaving me to carry the consequences of this unresolved reporting. Provide the evidence, explain your conduct and resolve the matter at its source.**

I am preserving evidence of the prejudice and will pursue appropriate regulatory, ombud and legal remedies if this continues.
