Nedbank: Where you pay for NO service and NO access

I opened a Platinum credit card facility for overseas travel purposes. Yet when overseas the card was not accepted and Standard bank fees were a lot less. I kept the facility unused and in August 2019 the card expired. Nedbank did not notify me nor contact me to replace the card. I kept paying the monthly R110 fee even though I have no access to the credit facilities. September I received notifications that they can see the card is not in use and if I don't pay R40 the card will be inactive. Seeing that I don't use the card or even have a card to access these funds I left it to be made inactive. The facilities wasn't used or accessed for over a year now (16 Months). Two days ago I received a threat that if R100 is not paid legal action will be taken. These costs are for a service and credit facility I'm not able to access or get from Nedbank. I phoned to settle this and made the ridiculous paymet of R792 to close the account wich was accoring to Nedbank in any case inactive. When accessing my clear score account, credit rating, I see Nedbank deducted 49 points from my score as a miss payer. These are Nedbank accrued costs which I didn't have access to and was informed facility inactive. I spoke to more than 10 Nedbank personnel of which 3 confirmed card will be closed but when transferred to resolve the credit rating I'm send to another department. The department will then state card is still active and then just transfer me again. So after more than 2 hours on the telephone I finally got confirmation the card will be closed but no one can assit or able to rectify the decline of 49 credit points on my credit score. Deducting 49 points on a facility not accessable and inactive is beyond my comprehension. My advise to future clients is make sure you will be using the facility and benefits cause if you don't you will in any case have to pay even when account is inactive and be seen as a bad creditor over fees on a service you didn't receive, have access to and inactive.
