Nedbank wants to **** me R250.00 for their error

I recently used the Nedbank App to apply for credit, and the process was quick and simple. I was also issued a gold card. Now, fast-forward to this week. I receive messages telling me to pick up another card, which I am responsible for canceling, and that I must pay R250.00 to cancel a card that I did not request or need. Sorry, but I am a little agitated right now. Where do they think I am going to get the money to fix their system error? This error could also impact my credicore . This is such a disgrace on their part mxm!
