Nedbank Voyager ****

Absolutely disgusted with Nedbank Voyager ****! They send you a letter after spending R100k on your CC for the year. Yay! You qualify for a companion ticket anywhere in Africa!! So I excitedly book a ticket to Zanzibar for myself and a friend, paid full in cash. Then I proceed to contact them for the companion ticket, which I was assured, is free of charge and only the taxes should be paid. What a surprise when the taxes ended up costing more than my whole ticket!??? So instead of the R1500 I was expecting, the companion ticket taxes had been bumped up to R6200??? Can somebody please explain this to me? What a ******* and what a ****!
