Nedbank Unfairly list on Credit Bereau-Decline credit protection policy for no reason

I am writing to formally contest and express my dissatisfaction with a credit listing on my credit report that I believe to be both unjust and inaccurate. This listing has negatively impacted my credit score and overall financial standing. Upon reviewing my credit report, I discovered that you have wrongfully included my name in the credit bureau records. I firmly believe this inclusion is unwarranted and erroneous due to the following reasons:

I previously filed a claim for loss of income under retrenchment, which underwent a thorough review. Despite this, you continued to demand payments for an insurance policy that failed to provide the assistance I had been paying for over the past decade.

In addition, I experienced unfair treatment at my workplace, which led to my unjust termination and subsequent loss of income. I sought remedies through credit protection policy, the ombudsman, and long-term insurance channels. I also took steps to settle my home loan, a responsibility that should have been covered by the insurance policy for which I had made consistent payments for nearly 15 years. Despite these circumstances, you unjustly listed me with the credit bureau. This matter requires urgent review, especially considering the credit protection policy I have had since 2019, which was designed to protect me during such difficult times.

I kindly request that you promptly investigate this issue and remove the unjust credit listing from my report. As stipulated under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), I am entitled to accurate and fair credit reporting. I trust that you will uphold these rights by conducting a comprehensive investigation into my dispute. Once the investigation is completed and the erroneous listing is removed, I request written confirmation of the correction. Additionally, I would like to receive a copy of my updated credit report reflecting the necessary changes.

If further information or documentation is needed to support my dispute, I am more than willing to provide it. I look forward to a swift resolution and the restoration of my accurate credit history. Additionally, I maintain that you are obligated to reimburse me for the settlement of my home loan and refund all premiums paid, as the coverage and assistance I expected were not provided. I expect a tangible resolution to this matter
