NEDBANK TRANSACTIONS GOING OFF FROM INACTIVE CARD IN POSSESSION BY CCD

My wife logged card dispute/***** case on 20th of September 2024 due to transactions that happened on a card that was still inactive because the card was still with CCD couriers as I had ordered a new card.

I have called to follow up a few times and never get through because the holding time is simply too long when I did get through I was told it will take 45 working days and was just told they working it.

This is extremely frustrating to me because why is it my problem to wait? Because number 1 this card was not even in my possession at the time of the transactions it was in Nedbanks possession. Number 2 the card was inactive at the time of the transactions so I don’t understand how it is possible at all. Number 3 I simply think it is a system error of some sort because I can see the funds sitting in my current balance but not available since the 20th of September. I am not primarily using this account but I do have debit orders that are still going off on this account so I am forced to put money in this account even though I don’t want to in the fear that the same thing might happen.

I have never been so disappointed in Nedbank and actually glad that I moved my salary to a different bank seeing that this is so easy to happen and Nedbank literally does not care.

The amount may not be huge but the fact is it is my money that Nedbank simple took and thought I wouldn’t notice in my opinion…

So I am writing this email in the hopes that you may be able to assist me in getting a proper answer on this matter. The ***** case number is CPT-155368
