NEDBANK SYSTEM IS HACK-ABLE

On 30 March 2025 my Nedbank account was hacked. I have no idea how because I had all my devices with me and nobody knows of my online banking login details. An amount of R2500.00 was taken from my account via what we call ‘cash send’. I visited my nearest branch in Savannah Mall, Polokwane and I was told to call the Nedbank toll free number. The number took me through Nedbank ***** report and I was instructed to open a case with SAPS and send them (Nedbank) an affidavit with case number. I did as instructed and to this day I didn’t receive any form of communication from Nedbank, except an automated email acknowledging the email I send them. My online profile has been suspended ever since due to security reasons. I went to their branch more than 3 times to get it unblocked since I can’t make any digital transactions but ooops! They always tell me ‘system this, system that.’

In my history of banking, my account has never been ‘hacked’ until I used Nedbank.
