Nedbank successfully opened a ********** Credit Account under my name

Nedbank's weak KYC process is about to cost me a fortune...

A ********* successfully opened a Credit Account at NEDBANK using my name. Had I not checked my credit status, I would not know that I supposedly owe Nedbank around R100K on a credit card. Clearly Nedbank does not know their customers. To them it's just numbers. Now, this is a big problem for me because NEDBANK is taking it's precious time to investigate this, I have a pending project and this ********** account is preventing me from continuing with the process. My deadline for the project is this week, and Nedbank is telling me that it will take them over a month to resolve this. I do not have a month!!!

All I need from Nedbank at this point in time is to provide me with a confirmation letter to say that this account is not mine, to get just that has proven impossible.

Nedbank, your weak controls have caused me big reputational damage already, and now it will potentially cost me millions.
