Nedbank still require face to face interaction in this time of Covid- 19!

I had my phone ****** in a mugging incident yesterday. I am using a spare phone but need to change my number. Guess what - I have to go into a branch! In these exceptional times with social distancing being requested of us all, how can nedbank say there is no other alternative. They can verify who I am a multitude of ways.
