Nedbank show no interest and appreciation in a 42-year old business relation

Understandably that in 42-years many changes took place and one has to accept as how business is done nowadays. However Nedbank (NB) must understand that in order to please their shareholder’s, NB need satisfied and contributing CUSTOMER’s. In recent years NB’s organisational changes became more drastic by relocating or closing NB Branches with a resulting high fluctuation of s****ed people. Hereby established business relationship and customer knowledge is lost and customer’s become for NB a secondary commodity and more of an irritation. We were shifted from one branch to the next and dealt with numerous business account managers. What transpired, Nedbank won’t support their customer when they are in need for assistance and rather flex their corporate muscle to silence them, like: - NB decline any responsibility for the duplication of cheque books and subsequent ********** transactions (old case) - Mismanagement in Branch where employee’s issue unauthorised official NB letters with costly consequences for the customer (old case) - Branch manager refer to verbal agreements that eventually have costly consequences for the customer - Some of the decisions making process of individuals are beyond reasonable explanations which are counterproductive and business damaging.

NB’s structure and approach is such that it doesn’t matter how many US$ millions they processed in a 42-year old business relationship because nobody cares in NB’s management structures or they don’t have the knowledge anymore, I don’t know. It appears NB’s Management does not have the time to worry about CUSTOMER’s anymore.

Now, NB was requested for facilitating an advanced payment guarantee (APG) for a project in Africa valued at several millions. NB outright declined and showed no interested in finding a possible solution for circumstances and to fulfil applicable criteria’s. It is left up to one or the other individual for making the decision in NB’s organisation. I wonder whether everyone else at NB has the same business vision and ignorance?
