Nedbank Service Staff Rude and Disinterested
Why is there not an option for 0 or negative rating. They bearly register a bllp on the service monitor! My experience of Nedbank: So, Nedbank guys really do not know how to give Service. They appear young snippy and so disinterested, I would be surprised if they are upright. I was asked to stop e-mail the CEO as he has better things to do. Like not knowing how bad we think the service is! So I am a women, and not a millionaire, and not a staff member of Nedbank, So my experience has been as follows: (And this has been in the last three month) 1. Nedbank has two Internet Banking App's; an old and a new. Which work as follows: New: Requires a User ID and a PIN Old: Requires a User ID, a PIN, and a Password. However, your backend does not readily identify which is which!? As a result there are scenarios, which end up locking you out because it does not know which system you are using. 2. Nedbank has a Cellular Banking Bank, this functions separately and differently from the old and new web based internet apps. The backend now has to contend with a third "secure"log in with different Identifiers, PINs and Passwords. 3. Nedbank staff upon receding an escalated complaint, Tell me what I have done! They do not ask. Considering, I am having the experience, it would be nice to be listened to. When someone cloned my card and was using it in Cape Town while I was in Joburg, I was told I spend too much. When my Internet Banking got locked I was told I did not know my security answers, when I was not asked any security questions - Someone is definitely trying to hack the three different banking Application and all I get are insults and dismissed. If the service staff start with the assumption that I am an idiot and do not know then we are all wasting our time and a time has come for a change. 4. Other Nedbank customers have experienced the same as I have but have either moved or use another bank as well. 5. Nedbank Staff have priority staff accounts, which means that the staff never experience tha PAIN of banking with Nedbank. They get personal bankers who work in the same building and will carry forms to them to ask for signature and engage with the various departments on their behalf. Customers, have to speak with different departments for the following:- home loan- car finance- overdraft- internet queries- cellular app queries- general enquiries- *****.
To date no one has ever resolved a query satisfactorily, I am left feeling slightly to extremely angry, and frustrated that I give my money to banks who charge me so that my life can be mansplained and insulted. As SA consumers have so few options in our country and each move may result in a potential 3 month wait for proof of income, bank hopping is not as easy as it may appear. So having staff be nasty does not necessarily results in customers leaving it results in ME. I hope I have very few dealing with Nedbank and will leave in a heartbeat!
