Nedbank service

I have opened account with that I want save my money the account t was charges the account I have not used now they say I owe Nedbank an amount of R523. The account I have not used at all I have even call them to closed the account they refused. This is very bad customer service they way thy demands money from customers and told me the account will hand me over to legal.
