Nedbank Send-iMali
The Nedbank send-iMali is falsely marketed. It does not transfer funds instantly and it is also not perfect for emergencies as it is stated on their website. On a number of occasions I've tried to use the send-iMali especially when I was in an emergency but to no avail. My recent experience with it was on 13 June 2021 when I realised that I didn't have my card in possession and I needed funds. What I did is that I transferred funds to my mobile number and I didn't instantly receive any sms indicating that I can draw the funds. I contacted Nedbank on numerous occasions to try and get assistance in resolving my matter. Firstly, while I was in the middle of explaining to the consultants my line would cut and the consultant would not call me back to finalise my matter. Secondly, some consultants tell me that they can't see the transaction or the number which the money is sent to, and others tells me that my transfer is in a pending state and that this normally happens of Sunday's. I told the consultant that why doesn't Nedbank advise their clients not to use the send-iMali on Sundays as it tends to give problems on Sundays. It's the 14th of June 2021 and I still have not received any send-iMali sms. This really poor service from Nedbank and I've been inconvenienced hugely. I'm even considering cancelling my bank accounts with Nedbank as they are unreliable.
